Spine scares a kidSpine walks frustratedly along the path in the park. He had been sure that getting out of the house would be a way to alleviate the stress that Rabbit had been placing him under, but Rabbit’s insistence in coming along had rendered any possibility of peace impossible. With his fedora tipped low over his bright green eyes and steam venting frustratedly from his cheeks, he tries to ignore his older brother’s presence.

Rabbit had taken to throwing a ball at his back intermittently as they walked in an attempt to get him to ‘lighten up’. On the contrary Spine was becoming angrier and angrier with each ‘thump’
Powerless - Chapter 05The ambulance took Jack to the nearest hospital, which wasn't far from where the call had been made. The ride only lasted for a good 15 minutes. The paramedics did everything they could on the way. They never noticed that Jack's hair was now darker. The brown color was now about to reach the tip of his hair.

As soon as the ambulance made a stop in front of the hospital, it's back doors flung open and the two paramedics rushed inside with the stretcher. As soon as they entered the building, other doctors that were around went to them and helped them.

What Has to be DoneZee sat curled into the corner of the couch, lost in her thoughts again. It seemed like she -always- was, these days. If it wasn't her own self-conscious bashing her confidence and self-worth into even smaller pieces, it was the twisted memories leaving her feeling broken and empty. If it wasn't the memories, it was her worries, tearing her apart with guilt, fear and indecision.
She thought of Tillivan.. The fact he was still out there somewhere, waiting for the next time he could attempt to break her spirits down again. As if they could get any farther down.. She thought of Undertow, and the fact that he was after Cerzz, who had all but disappeared from her life.. Just like everyone always did.. She was tempted more than once to seek her 'sister' out at the Citadel.. But if Cerzz was avoiding coming to Sennon to see her, she wouldn't want to push that.. Cerzz had likely just realized what a mess Zee truly was, and decided she wanted out.. Zee couldn't blame her..

Neverthrive had seen a lot of things in this place. Weird things. But this was strange, even for the constant level of background strangeness that permeated the group like some sort of socially awkward radiation. This was…just bizarre.

Scelerata—inexplicably-appointed ‘leader’ of the fine group of misfits—had positioned herself in the tallest tree she could find on the compound grounds. Well…’position’ may be the wrong word. It implies a certain level of thought, premeditation, and purposefulness. ‘Stuffed’ might be a better word.
